Rose works to protect and restore the diversity of CA landscapes. As a native Californian, growing up in the Bay Area, Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Monterey Bay, She feels a deep connection to CA’s diversity of flora and fauna, and has a passion to protect it for future generations. As a biologist at Rana, Rose is able to use her experience in botany, habitat restoration, GIS mapping and analysis, and environmental policy on a diversity of projects. She has a BS in Biology from Humboldt State University and a Masters in Watershed Science and Policy from Cal State Monterey Bay and has worked on biological projects throughout the western states and while living abroad in Chile and Spain. In Rose’s free time she enjoys being in nature with her two young boys and husband.
